Box Office Prediction For JAI HO

''Jai Ho'' is releasing only in 4 days and this film is undoubtedly the first big release of the year. Film is first offering from superstar Salman Khan in last 14 months or so after his last release ''Dabangg 2''.

Film will be one of the widest releases ever if not the widest. Film should release across 4400 screens at domestic box office and around 700 screens in overseas market. Film will take a thunderous opening atbox office without any doubt but film has some tough records to break on its way.

Film will easily do 175-190 cr nett as film has good weekend period and no major release for next 20 days. Salman has given most of the hits in last 4-5 years but still all important 200 cr nett mark is eluding him. We hope this time he will pass that and make some new records

'Dhoom 3' box office collections at Rs 500 cr, first film in Bollywood to cross record mark

'Dhoom 3' box office collections yet again prove Aamir Khan's stranglehold over movie buffs and ability to ink new records.

Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' box office collections have scripted history by becoming the first Bollywood film to gross Rs 500 crore across the world, Yash Raj Films claimed today.

The blockbuster, starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan, raked in Rs 500 crore by making Rs 351.29 crore in India and Rs 150.06 crore abroad, according to the production house.
It is the third instalment of 'Dhoom' series.
The movie was helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra.
'Dhoom 3', saw Abhishek and Uday Chopra reprising their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Akbar, respectively, while actors Aamir and Katrina were seen as the antagonist duo.
While analysts widely expected 'Dhoom 3' box office collections to surpass all records, the speed with which it has happened and the amount bagged has been a big surprise.
The movie has surpassed the previous highest-grossing Bollywood film "Chennai Express" starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

1st Day Box Office Collection And 2nd Day Early Trend Of DEDH ISHQIYA

''Dedh Ishqiya'' had good star cast and Madhuri Dixit was the shining star of the film. Film had sequel advantage and on top of that goodreviews.

DEDH ISHQIYA Loses Steam On Day One Itself

''Dedh Ishqiya'' had good star cast and Madhuri Dixit was the shining star of the film. Film had sequeladvantage and on top of that good reviews.

But as we mentioned in our review, too much Urdu language and lack of novelty of plot cost the film dearly. Film never grew after subdued start and was very poor in places like Rajasthan, Central India and Mumbai. Film was low as 20% in these places.

Film has collected 3.20 cr nett on day one. Film has started slowly on day two and it seems that film further go down which is bad sign. Film will not collect in excess of 13 cr nett over the weekend and that spells doom for the film.

1st Day Box Office Collection And 2nd Day Early Trend Of YAARIYAN

''Yaariyan'' started well yesterday morning but by the end of the day film came out as a surprise winner in the clash versus fancier rival ''Dedh Ishqiya''.

YAARIYAN Scored Big On Day One

''Yaariyan'' started well yesterday morning but by the end of the day film came out as a surprise winner in the clash versus fancier rival ''Dedh Ishqiya''.

''Yaariyan'' was super strong in Mumbai, Central India and places in south. Film grew from eveningonwards and it seems that despite not such great pre release buzz, film managed to struck chord withtarget audience i.e. youth.

Film has collected 5.90-6.10 cr nett on day one. Film had not received good reviews and acceptance is limited so film might not grow from here onwards. Film has not started that well on Saturday and film is heading for 17-18 cr nett weekend.

This is a good result for such small budget film and it is heading for hit status.
